WAW.co.uk goes on the Willenhall Heritage Trail – Part 1

We had a group meet on the 15th August, to go on the Willenhall Heritage Trail!

The weather was good but unfortunately we didn’t get round all of them, perhaps too much talking along the way and it’s not as easy as we thought finding the plaques or the keys!

A small selection of photos and don’t worry they don’t give the game away, you can try to find your own keys!

We will however, have to have a Part 2 🙂

Willenhall Heritage Trust DVD

The first publication from Willenhall Heritage Trust is the DVD – ‘The History and Heritage of Willenhall’.

This DVD, which runs for approx. 1 hour, has been produced by Chamber TV for Willenhall Heritage Trust to capture the History of the town, which lies in the Heart of the Black Country, that started it’s life in Anglo Saxon times. It since became the lock making capital of the world in its industrial peak.

This up to date account, which details the past, present and plans for the future, is narrated by Mary Bodfish, and is introduced by Professor Carl Chinn, MBE, who is Patron of Willenhall Heritage Trust.

Available now priced £10.99.
