Best of British Town 2014 Event – General Photos

A selection of photos from this years Best of British town event.

We raised a lovely £88 towards our chosen charity Cancer Research which was added to our recent Race for Life event – giving us a total of £366.00. Many thanks to local buiness’ who donated raffle prizes, inc Morrisons, Tescos, Teet Shirts and big thanks to Imperial Cakes for our super WAW Cake!

Zero increase in rental charges at Walsall markets

Market traders in Walsall will not face an increase in market rental charges for the next financial year, regeneration chiefs have confirmed.
The boost will help traders operating at the three council-run outdoor markets in Bloxwich, Willenhall Walsall market in the town centre.
Councillor Adrian Andrew, portfolio holder for regeneration and transport in the Walsall Council Coalition, said: “”It’s good news for traders at all our markets. Healthy markets play an important role in the borough’s economy as well as in the day-to-day lives of our communities, and increase the variety of shopping in our centres.
